Football Blogging Awards

Victory Year 13 Media student Zac Bell did the double as his blog ‘Anfield Edition’ scooped two prizes at the Football Blogging Awards, sponsored by Sky Sports. The annual ceremony, this year held at Alexandra Palace, was launched to recognise some of the most creative blogs from around the world. Nominated in the category ‘Best New Football Blog’, Zac won both the Fans’ Award and the Judges’ Award. Zac said, “I was proud to win the Judges’ Award in particular, as it was not a result of a public vote and I felt this was a true representation of how far the website has come since I started it in 2016. The only downside was having to tell Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock that I had to leave early as Aqib Uddin (my driver) and I both had revision for our A Levels at school the next morning.”

We are very proud of what Zac has achieved and feel sure these are the first awards of many.
