LGBTQ+ History Month

Throughout February our students and staff celebrated LGBTQ+ History Month, and the lives and achievements of the LGBTQ+ community. The month also aims to promote tolerance and raise awareness of the prejudices faced. Take a look at the pictures below!

Our departments created displays honouring current and historical figures of the LGBTQ+ community

Our Performing Arts students did a performance in the Courtyard. They danced to ‘And You Don’t Even Know It’ from the musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, and then sung ‘True Colours’.

On Friday 11th February we held our True Colours event. Activities included a rainbow doughnut sale, a visit from METRO charity, and staff wearing the bright colours of the rainbow flag.
