All students within the Sixth Form have the opportunity to take part in a range of extra activities to support and enrich their studies. Students choose which activities to join in with according to their particular interests and talents. The Enrichment Programme is timetabled in addition to the students’ studies of the subjects they have chosen.
The Enrichment & Additional Studies programme aims to add depth and breadth to the range of skills and experiences students can offer on leaving the Sixth Form, to ensure that they are able to successfully compete for places at the best Universities. The Enrichment Programme will also help students progressing to the World of Work in being able to demonstrate that they have skills valued by employers.
The Additional Studies programme aims to help students acquire these skills. Outlined below is a list of the Additional Studies subjects on offer. The Enrichment & Additional Studies Programme currently includes:
- Duke of Edinburgh Award
- Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)
- Young Enterprise
- Certificate in Financial Studies
- Community Sports Leaders Award
