We are active members of the Medway Cultural Education Partnership and Medway Creative Schools Network, and are delighted to support the City of Culture 2025 bid as Medway Champions.
Named after HMS Victory, launched here in Chatham in 1765, we are proud of our local naval heritage and have our own Sea Cadet unit, together with a strong partnership with the Chatham Historic Dockyard. The Victory Academy is also a Thinking School , accredited by the University of Exeter, and offering a high quality cognitive education for our students.
At the Academy, we seek to create an environment in which students and staff feel able to explore and express themselves. Over time we hope to reassure students that rather than forcing them to believe certain things, or act in certain ways, we are merely providing opportunities for them to investigate what they themselves believe.
