Named after HMS Victory, launched here in Chatham in 1765, we are proud of our local naval heritage and have our own Sea Cadet unit, together with a strong partnership with the Chatham Historic Dockyard. The Victory Academy is also an Advanced Thinking School, accredited by the University of Exeter, and offering a high quality cognitive education for our students.
We believe that the best place for trainee teachers to learn how to become excellent classroom practitioners is in a school. As part of the Thinking Schools Academy Trust, we work in partnership with school direct partnerships (SCITTs) and universities across the south of England to provide both QTS and PGCE qualifications.
You will receive high quality support and training from skilled teachers who are passionate about education. We are committed to employing successful trainees and helping them build a long-term career within education.
